The Role

The Digital Project Manager would be hired to work alongside a Senior Digital Project Manager and studio teams ensuring that the project work runs on time and to budget and is delivered to the highest possible standard.

 

The Digital Project Manager needs to be a highly organised and motivated individual. The role is about “making things happen” and requires the ability to be solution orientated and think creatively when faced with project issues as well as being highly organised and with a good attention to detail.

Social Media Manager

Working across various accounts (with a focus on the Volkswagen client) to manage the day-to-day running of client’s social media properties and to support the social media director in creating strategic social campaigns and programmes. 

Key responsibilities:

  • All day-to-day management and participation for client’s social media properties (such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs), including producing regular posts, content uploading, moderation, outreach and any other appropriate duties.   
  • Creating and managing relationships with key influencers, bloggers and forum owners.
  • Supporting the social media director and client account teams across TribalDDB and DDB London (‘the agency’) in the development of social media proposals, consulting, strategies, engagements and evaluation.
  • Working with clients and partner agencies to implement a rigorous approach to evaluation which demonstrates the business impact of social media projects.
  •  Management of the agency’s social media related blog and Twitter presence.

Senior Project Managers - perm and contract

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing large projects or providing senior input across multiple projects within a production team. The SPM manages and motivates the team and makes timely decisions in order to ensure project success within time, cost and quality parameters. They have significant client liaison responsibilities to ensure that client expectations are managed and met.  The SPM may work in a program management capacity for larger clients, managing APMs, PMs and SPMs to ensure that projects are timely and on budget.

Candidates will typically have a proven track record and extensive professional experience in online web development.

The characteristics that differentiate a Senior Project Manager from a Project Manager include:

 

·         Highly experienced at managing technology/web projects with large budgets (over £200,000), up to 25 FTEs, and of possibly high complexity

·         Effectively managing cross-office teams of significant size

·         Excellent team and people management skills

·         Excellent mentorship skills

·         Strong client facing skills and skill and experience in managing conflicts with clients

·         Strong presentation and negotiation skills

·         PMP certification from PMI, or Prince 2 certification strongly desired and training needs will be assessed with Director of Project Management on a case-by-case basis

Project Director

A Project Director is responsible for programme management of a large client or many smaller clients. The PD line manages and motivates the PM team working within that client(s) as appropriate, and works with the Account Management team to ensure client satisfaction and success within time, cost and quality parameters. The PD has significant client liaison responsibilities to ensure that client expectations are managed and met. The PD will also manage complex or larger projects within their clients as well as managing APMs, PMs and SPMs.

Candidates will typically have proven professional experience in online web development on large scale projects and rich media. Candidates will have previous experience line-managing other Project Managers.

Other experience that is beneficial is in integrated accounts though this is mainly a digital production / delivery management role, and possible experience with telecoms
